Full Driver - A full driver has the authority to take a group out to the lake to ski. That is, every group that goes out to the lake must have at least one driver with them. The full driver that accompanies a group is responsible for the entire group, and held accountable for all that occurs with the boat and the skiers while the group is at the lake. Full drivers have knowledge of the lake (ie where the shallow spots are), know the rules of the water (both Michigan boating laws, and rules of the slalom course) and have proven they can pull all three events well, and most importantly, can pull all three events safely.

Junior Driver - A junior driver is allowed to drive the boat and pull skiers, but only in the presence of a full driver. Members must be junior drivers before they can become full drivers. Junior drivers are promoted to full drivers only after they have proven to the club officers, and current full drivers that they poses the skills of a full driver (listed above), and logged many hours of driving as a junior driver (usually about a season's worth).
